Nammaleni Nijalu was a crime serial based on true incidents, aired on the ETV channel of the esteemed Eenadu group headed by Ramoji Rao. It started in February 2004 under the creative head/manager Prabhakar (actor, popularly known as ETV Prabhakar). Each week a new story (in 4 episodes) was telecast, directed by different directors. It became a top-rated programme in 2006.
