Nuvvu Thopu Raa - Release of the Theatrical Trailer by Prabhas

“18 April 2019, 5.50 pm, Prabhas’s home - Darling Prabhas releases the theatrical trailer of Nuvvu Thopu Raa in the presence of myself, producer Srikanth (with his young daughter, Baby Jahnavi), and actors Sudhakar and Nitya.

As I watched him looking at our trailer, my mind went back to Eshwar, the debut movie of Prabhas, because, yes, my own baby steps in the industry also began on the sets of Eshwar. Naturally, it was a very special moment for me when the trailer of my debut movie as a director was being released by the same Prabhas, now an internationally renowned, pan-India star who after Eshwar went from strength to strength as an actor, delivering many blockbusters including two of India’s biggest global hits, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.” - Harinath Babu

Nuvvu Thopu Raa - Launch of the Teaser by Vijay Deverakonda

“14 July 2018, 1 pm, Prasad Labs - Looking at the crowd at the first promotional event of my directorial debut Nuvvu Thopu Raa, we were thrilled that Vijay Deverakonda had graciously agreed to be our event’s Chief Guest and launch the teaser. Having risen to stardom with his recent blockbuster Arjun Reddy and with the trending song Inkem Inkem Kavali from his soon-to-be-released Geetha Govindam on all our lips, Vijay made it a memorable event with his touching, nostalgic recall of his friendship with Sudhakar Komakula, the hero of Nuvvu Thopu Raa. Undoubtedly the teaser launch by Vijay created a tremendous buzz for our movie. I had some nostalgic moments too at this launch - I quietly recollected my debut in 2000 in the field of direction, as an associate director for the Doordarshan serial Anveshana, being directed by Govardhan Rao (more well-known as ‘Vardhan’), the father of Vijay Deverakonda! - Harinath Babu
