Harinath Babu got acquainted with Kiran Kumar when he was learning theatre arts in Central University. It was Kiran Kumar who introduced Harinath Babu to the film industry. Harinath was an observation assistant for the film Eeshwar. Kiran Kumar planned to direct his own film, Yours Abhi with Kamalakar as the movie hero. Harinath was appointed as the associate director for the movie. Working for Your Abhi gave him the idea of many needed dos and don'ts of film-making. Experience of working with popular and experienced film technicians like Marudhuri Raja, Writer, Ram Lakshman, Fights, K. Dattu, DOP, Devi Sri Prasad, Music, etc., had proved an added advantage for sharpening Harinath’s skills. The child artist from this film had been cast as a heroine for his directorial debut movie, Nuvvu Thopu Raa.
