Talent, creative talent - that is what brought you and me together, that is what brought you and me to the film industry and it is the same creative talent that made us both do the movie Nuvvu Thopu Raa!
CAN we even describe in words the stirring feeling that wells up in us when we are recognized for our creative talent? And, how spellbound we are when we see awesome creative talent like Chiranjeevi garu’s!
I CAN never forget that sweet moment when you hugged me after seeing the first cut/copy of Nuvvu Thopu Raa. Do you remember where? You know I did my best for that film, you know the kind of situations we handled, the obstacles we overcame, believing in our talent. I’m sure, like me, you must be happy that today Nuvvu Thopu Raa has a count of over 2 million views on YouTube, with hundreds of encouraging and enthusiastic comments.
OUR MEGA STAR Chiranjeevi garu cast his spell on me when I was a child. Like millions of others, captivated by his fabulous creative talent, I became (and remain) his fervent fan. “I should see him in person at least once; I should meet him at least once” buzzed the dream in my head. And, how thrilled and lucky I felt when the dream came true - as a teenager, I saw him (if only there were cell phones and selfies then!) at a function organized at Annapurna Studios by the film industry to felicitate the then Chief Minister Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy. My dance master Pavan attended the function, with me in tow. And, why did I join his dance classes? To dance and to dress like Chiranjeevi garu!
CHIRANJEEVI GARU’S style, his grace, his dialogue delivery, his dancing… just blew my mind; made me see every movie of his; made me vividly narrate each movie’s story to my friends such that they almost felt like they were seeing it. It is this storytelling talent that brought me to the film industry.
WATCHING you and Harika in this tribute has made me take a pleasant walk down memory lane, remembering my euphoria for everything about our mega star, and reminded me of my passion to go out of my way when I see talent in anyone.
