With my friend, Kishore, when I was making a promotional video for TANA (Telugu Association of North America, one of the oldest and biggest Indo-American Organiation in North America), I met Swetaa Varma for the first time.
We worked with her for one full day. We discussed many film related topics. That is when I came to know of her dedication and passion. Eventually, those traits of hers lead her to success.
In 2019, Swetaa Varma acted in a woman centric independent movie, Rani. Rani was produced by my bro Kishore MariShetty, and Nazia Sheikh. Raghavendra Katari directed the movie. For the movie, Rani preview, I was invited as the chief guest and hence once again I was happy to see her performance on the big screen. Once again, I was invited as a chief guest for the promotions of the movie. I was immensely delighted to see her determination every time I happened to meet her.
After doing a few concept films, I am happy today to see her as Big Boss Telugu5 contestant.
శ్వేతా వర్మ ని నేను ఫస్ట్ టైం నా మిత్రుడితో కిషోర్ తో కలిసి 2014 లో తాన [TANA - Telugu Association of North America (or TANA, as it is well known) is the oldest and biggest Indo-American organization in North America.] కోసం ఒక ప్రమోషనల్ వీడియో చేస్తున్నప్పుడు కలిసాను. తనతో ఒక రోజంతా వర్క్ చేసాము. ఫిలిం రిలేటెడ్ విషయాలు చాలా డిస్కస్ చేసాము, అప్పుడు తనకున్న డెడికేషన్ , పాషన్ చూసాను. అవే తనని అంచెలంచలు గా ఎదిగేలా చేశాయి . ఆ తరువాత 2019 లో తాను లేడీ ఓరియెంటెడ్ కంటెంట్ అయిన "రాణి" ఇండిపెండ్ ఫిలింలో ఆక్ట్ చేయడం ఆ సినిమాని నా తమ్ముడు కిషోర్ మారిశెట్టి, నజియా షైక్ కలిసి ప్రొడ్యూస్ చేయడం , రాఘవేంద్ర కటారి డైరెక్ట్ చేశారు. ఆ సినిమా ప్రివ్యూకి నన్ను చీఫ్ గెస్ట్ గా పిలవడంతో మళ్ళి తన పెరఫార్మన్స్ ని స్క్రీన్ పైన చూసి చాలా హ్యాపీ గా పీల్ అయ్యాను. తరువాత ఆ ఫిలిం ప్రమోషన్ కి నన్ను చీఫ్ గెస్ట్ గా ఆహ్వానించారు. అలా తనని, తన పట్టుదలని చూసి ఎంతో హ్యాపీ అనిపించింది. ఆ తరువాత మరికొన్ని కాన్సెప్ట్ ఫిలిమ్స్ లో ఆక్ట్ చేసి ఈ రోజు ఇలా బిగ్ బాస్ లోకి వెళ్లడం చాలా హ్యాపీ గా వుంది.
