Neither am I Harinath Babu's teacher/Guru nor is he my student. Unlike in Gurukul, in film industry there are no procedures to teach nor ways to say you need to take a movie like this or like that. Without being told, an assistant director has to understand the perceptions and passions of his director, and assist him accordingly, through his observations and thinking. Through his mere observations and assistance, he will learn practically and gain experience.
I never treat my assistant directors as students, but as very dear friends. If they think I am their teacher/guru, I would say that it is merely their affection for me and I am honoured for that.
Harinath Babu, worked very efficiently and effectively while he was working with me. He did each and every job assigned to him with utmost care and responsibility. He was very humble and respectful. He used to complete the tasks always on time.
His first attempt at becoming a director was for the film Nuvvu Thopu Ra. For the first time in the history of Telugu cinema, even before the shooting of the movie, he released the story's essence as POC (Proof of Concept) in a pre-shoot teaser without caring for costs, difficult efforts, all the way in USA. With his latest Marketing, Creative Thoughts, he was able to divert the viewers' attention towards his film at once, impressing with its quality and to the acclaim of all.
In the meantime, the teaser has been released by Vijay Devarakonda. The way Harinath Babu showed the Hero's character with revengeful Spite, Energy and Mass Content, attracted a lot of attention, hurried curiosity and made me very happy that we can definitely watch Nuvvu Thopu Raa movie.
In the same way, I also want his Theatrical Trailer, Audio & Movie to be released soon. And I wholeheartedly wish Harinath Babu, who will be introduced to the audience as the Debutant Director, should make a name for himself as a Promising Director.
I wish Harinath Babu and the producers who gave him this opportunity Srikanth Daduvai (India), co-producer Dr James Kommu (Utah, USA), associate producer Ritesh Gupta (India), and hero Sudhakar Komakula, heroine Nitya Shetty, hero's mother actress Nirosha Ratha and to all the people who supported Harinath Babu in India and as well as in USA; I also wish the artists and technicians of Nuvvu Thopu Raa team "all the good luck" and may God Bless Them with Super Success.
