MUSINGS as we are all proudly celebrating India's 74th Independence Day - hasn't the Covid-19 pandemic, the lockdown and the necessary restrictions vividly brought home to us how much we all take our freedom for granted and how precious that freedom is? Am happy that we are, as a nation, to a large extent voluntarily wearing masks, and without great fuss observing the restrictions on our freedom of movement, freedom of association, freedom to party, freedom to gather in large numbers to entertain ourselves in different ways... Three cheers and love to my country, India, and to all my countrymen, my fellow Indians!!!
