Yes, produced by K Balachandar garu for Gemini TV, Adutha Veetu Kavithai is the name of the Tamil serial in which actress Lakshmi garu and our dear Balu garu acted as a lead pair. Jeevana Sandhya might be the Telugu dubbed version of the Tamil serial Adutha Veetu Kavithai.
We are touched by a role/character that makes a strong emotional impact on our heart and feelings that we can relate to very dearly, isn't it? Maybe that could be the reason why I connected to the character enacted by Balu garu? Or maybe because he poured life into that character that I connected to it? Whatever might be the logical or illogical reasons, I used to run home before 7.30 pm to watch the TV serial. Wherever or however or whatever it might be, I was always in front of the TV before 7.30 pm to drink in his character. As a start, excitedly in order to remind him about the character/role that impacted me so much, I just said, Jeevana Sandhya and immediately (even before I could complete my sentence) in his usual, humorous way he said, still jeevana sandhya (last phase of life) did not come. Everyone around laughed. I can never forget those endearing few moments with him in my life. Even though I met him once, and spoke to him for a few minutes, it is not at all exaggerating for me to say that the affection and positivity that enveloped me being around him has helped me move ahead in this film world steadfastedly.
